Worn for every season — the panjabi, reconsidered.
Signature ethnic wear, cut for the moments that matter. We trace the long line of the Richman panjabi and the considered choices behind its modern silhouette.
The panjabi is the most quietly important garment in a Bangladeshi man's wardrobe. It accompanies the first Eid prayer of the morning, the family dinner that runs late, the wedding where every detail will be remembered.
We approach it with that weight in mind.
Line
Our cut is long, lean and uninterrupted — a single clean column from shoulder to hem. The placket is narrow, the collar low, the cuff finished close.
It is a silhouette that reads traditional from a distance and modern up close.
Cloth
We work with hand-loomed cottons, fine linens and silk-cotton blends woven specifically for us. The colours run quiet — bone, sand, slate, ink — letting the embroidery (when present) be the only voice in the room.
A Richman panjabi is meant to be worn for years. We design it accordingly.
